The brand is launching its Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup in an unexpected format: hard-candy “drops.” In a press release shared with PEOPLE, Progresso said the limited-edition item was timed to both National Soup Month and the height of cold and flu season, when “most folks flock to the cough drop aisle.” While the release adds that soup lovers “certainly can reach for the real thing if you’re looking for that feeling of a hug in a bowl,” the drops were made with both comfort and convenience in mind.
