A New York City woman is accused of killing her building’s superintendent while he attempted to collect unpaid rent from her on behalf of the landlord, authorities said.
Sandra Coto-Navarro, 48, was arraigned Thursday, Jan. 16 on charges of second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence and weapon possession in connection with the death of 55-year-old Jose Portillo, according to apress releasefrom the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

A woman accused of killing three relatives with an arsenic-laced Christmas cake was found dead in a jail cell in Brazil.
Deise Moura dos Anjos, 42, had been in custody at a women’s state prison in the southern Brazilian city of Guaíba since January, theBBCandCNN Brasilreported.
Her husband asked for a divorce the day before she was discovered, according to the outlet.
Dos Anjos was accused ofserving a Christmas cake laced with arsenicat 2,700 times the legal limit to her family members on Christmas Eve, per CNN.

A woman has been arrested after being accused of planting explosive devices at a Colorado Tesla dealership.
Police initiated an “extensive investigation” on Jan. 29 after the dealership was vandalized “several times." Incendiary devices were also discovered at the premises.
The dealership has been vandalized 5 times since Jan. 29,9News reports.
On Feb. 7, the affidavit reportedly states, four to five Molotov cocktails were hurled at vehicles on the property.
