A Maryland woman who murdering her mother, attempting to burn her remains and then dismembering her with a chainsaw was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
Craig’s daughter Salia Hardy, 21,testified to jurors last yearthat the killing occurred after her grandmother accused her mother of stealing money from her bank account,ABC7reported.
On the day of the May 23, 2023 murder, Hardy testified she heard a scream and recalled her mother telling her to keep away from her grandmother’s bedroom.

A woman in France is speaking out almost 14 years after having to have all four of her limbs amputated after contracting an infection following an induced abortion.
On Monday, Feb. 17, Priscilla Dray, who was 35 at the time, appeared before Bordeaux Criminal Court alongside doctors from the Bordeaux University Hospital, where she had the operation on July 22, 2011, per local stationFrance 3.

An Indianapolis woman who stabbed an Asian student in her head multiple times has been sentenced to six years in prison for the hate crime.
An Indiana University at Bloomington student of Chinese descent was riding a Bloomington Transit bus on Jan. 11, 2023, when Davis boarded and sat behind her, a separatepress releasesaid, citing court documents.
