A 12-year-old boy died after he was injured in a motocross event in Georgia, authorities said.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on Facebook that officials were notified on Saturday, Feb. 8, about an injured person at the Echeconnee Motocross racing track in Lizella.
The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Dalton Hill, 12, who was taking part in the event at the time.

A tree fell on Kyle Murray while he was walking home from school during a wind storm on North Main Street in Boscawen, N.H., on March 7, according to theBoscawen Police Department.
“Kyle suffered major injuries and is currently in a medically induced coma,” police said.
Chief Jason Killary of the Boscawen Police Department told PEOPLE, “We don’t have any additional information about the incident,” but he has heard the boy is “doing better.

“Some passengers jumped out of the moving train to save themselves from the fire,” Pawar said. “But the train was moving at a good speed so one of the people pulled the [emergency] chain, and the train stopped.”
Seven people who died from the crash were from Nepal, and four others were from the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Pawar said.

The 13-year-old girlaccused of murdering a mother of threeand then setting a home on fire appeared in court on Wednesday, March 12, for her first hearing.
The hearing lasted approximately four minutes, and the girl only spoke when asked to confirm her age and date of birth, according to the BBC.
At the end of the proceedings, the judge in the case remanded the girl to a youth detention center ahead of her next court hearing on April 11, the Northamptonshire Police said in anews release.
