Per the outlet, police linked a single killer to five female victims. All five of the women were prostitutes and they were all mutilated, except for one, according to theBBC.
The Timesreports that in 2007, researcher Russell Edwards bought a shawl that was believed to have been found on Eddowes’ body at the murder scene in 1888, and Kosminski’s DNA was later found on it.

At apress conferenceheld on Tuesday, Feb. 11, interim Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison detailed the tragedy that unfolded while the family’s van was on the ninth floor of the Hollywood Casino parking garage on Monday, Feb. 10.
“The mother realized that her 9-year-old son wasn’t breathing,” said the official, who confirmed at the time there were five children and two adults in the vehicle.
“Previous to that," he added, “she had already called a friend, another close relative, to help” because the vehicle was not running.

The families of the three women who were found dead in a hotel in Belize in late February are mourning their deaths.
Police confirmed their identities on Monday, Feb. 24, per theAssociated Press. While the cause of their deaths has yet to be confirmed, police are investigating the deaths as possible drug overdoses, AP reported.

On Thursday morning,Madison Bisharathiked from Santa Monica to the Pacific Palisades with her dad and boyfriend to check on her childhood home. With the roads closed, this was their only hope of seeing what remained of their house.
All they brought with them for the journey were N95 masks, goggles, gloves, a shovel, backpacks and enough water for the day.

A family’s home was “engulfed in fire” after a second-hand e-bike exploded while three people were inside.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said in anews releasethat the fire, which occurred at a home in Renshaw Close in London’s Catford district, grew following “several bangs and small explosions.”
First responders next appear at the scene, before the LFB hose down an engulfed second-story room.
