Hannah Kobayashi, the 30-year-old Hawaii woman who disappeared after failing to board a flight in Los Angeles andsending what were described as “alarming” text messagesto her family — sparking a police investigation — has been determined to be a “voluntary missing person.”

Hannah Kobayashi’s family says she has been “found safe” about a month after she walked into Mexico and vanished in what police have called a voluntary disappearance.
