M.T. Zimnywas driving home from her in-laws' house with her husband, toddler and two golden retrievers when she received a text asking if they had their in-laws' 10-year-old dog, Finn.
Her in-laws, who live in Snohomish, Wash. — an hour away from Zimny and her family in Renton — had been searching the entire neighborhood for their black lab for half an hour.
