Joy Reid and her show,The ReidOut, is leaving MSNBC amid the recentongoing shakeupsin television news.On Monday, Feb. 24, MSNBC’s new president Rebecca Kulter announced that the longtime journalist, 56, would be exiting the network in a memo sent to staff.“Joy Reid is leaving the network and we thank her for her countless contributions over the years,” Culter wrote in a statement. “Her work has been recognized with several esteemed honors, including most recently, the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding News Series.

In celebration of the film’s upcoming 18th anniversary later this year, author and pop culture journalist Andrew Buss released his new book,I AM MCLOVIN: How Superbad Became the Biggest Comedy Hit of Its Generation, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the 2007 comedy hit.
The book details how the film’s writers, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, began working on the script at 13 years old, how they pulled off the raunchier scenes during the filming process and how they helped turn a cast of previously unknown actors into Hollywood stars.
