On Tuesday, Dec. 17, Brewer’s musical partner, Tom Shipley, confirmed the news of his death in aFacebook post.A post on the band’sFacebook pagesaid Brewer had “battled multiple illnesses for the past 3 years.” Though no official cause of death has been revealed. “My friend of 65 years and music partner for over 60, had to go,” he wrote, alongside a photo of Brewer.
