The couple, who have been together since 2011, got married in 2012. Soon after, the pair began creating their big family. The Baldwins welcomed their first child together, daughterCarmen Gabrielain August 2013.

They followed up withRafael Thomas,Leonardo Ángel CharlesandRomeo Alejandro David, in 2015, 2016 and 2018, respectively.Eduardo Pau LucasandMaría Lucía Victoriajoined the family in 2020 and 2021 beforeIlaria Catalina Irenacame in 2022.

Alec, is also father to Ireland, 29, from his previous relationship withKim Basinger.

“Telling your story is one thing, and showing your story is something else,” Hilaria said in the Februarycover story for PEOPLE. “It felt authentic, it felt human. It felt very empowering.”
