Alabama Baby Dies Days After Suffering Seizure, and Now Boy's Mother Is Behind Bars

An Alabama mother has been arrested in connection with the death of her 4-month-old son, multiple outlets report, citing police.

The little boy died on Jan. 29, four days after emergency medical services transported him to a hospital from a Lanett residence on Jan. 25th, per a press release from the Lanett Police Department.

The infant’s body will undergo an autopsy so officials can learn more about what happened to him, the press release states.

Pruitt is now behind bars as police continue to investigate, according toWRBL Columbus.
