Alec Baldwinhasn’t fully moved on from theRusttragedy — in fact, he says there is more to the story that has yet to be revealed.“We have more s— that’s gonna come out in ensuing legal filings and so forth,” the actor said on the newest episode ofFail Better with David Duchovny, a Lemonada Media podcast. “These last three years, people have just dined out.”“In this country, when people hate you on that level, they want three things: They want you to die. They want you to go to prison,” he continued. “And the third thing is they want you canceled, which is like being in prison or being dead. Because you roam the earth and you’re invisible.“Baldwin, 66, was holding a prop gun on the New Mexico set of theJoel Souza-directed Western in October 2021 when it accidentally went off, killing 42-year-old cinematographerHalyna Hutchinsand injuring Souza, 51.The actor, who has maintained that he did not pull the trigger or know why the gun contained live ammunition,was charged with manslaughterand stood trial in July.
