Alix Earleis addressing some of the biggest misconceptions around her “party girl” persona.

On the latest episode of theHot Messpodcast, which aired on March 6, the 24-year-old influencer opened up about finding the “balance [between] staying in and taking care of yourself and going out [and] having a drink with your friends,” despite the internet’s perception of her life.

“People are allowed to say whatever they want, but a lot of things can be misconstrued,” she explained on the episode. “[Just] because I post a lot about me going out, it doesn’t mean I’m going out all the time.”

Earle is no stranger to documenting her good times with friends on social media — from her elaborate Mad HatterHalloween partyin 2024 to a24-hour birthday bashfor her friend Sally back in February — but she pushed back on the idea that she’s only being a party girl.

“There’s so much more to post about when I am going out,” she explained. “Just because I’m going out doesn’t mean I’m out every waking second.”

“I love to go out [and have] a good time,” she continued. “But at the same time, that also doesn’t mean that we’re going absolutely crazy. I really don’t go out that often, but when I do go out, [it’s] going to be a fun time.”

Despite her public “reputation,” Earle also spoke about how important it is for her to take the time off to “get my mental health in order” as she’s openly struggled with anxiety. She recalled times when she would be “bedridden” because of her anxiety at 14 years old and ensures she takes time to “get my anxiety in order,” especially after a busy weekend.

“We had a big party weekend last weekend, which is great,” she continued. “But I’m feeling so excited to stay in bed this weekend and do nothing.”

Earle also opened up about how she’s found a balance between going out and staying, especially as she’s lived in Miami for the past few years — a city notorious for its nightlife. She admitted that in college, she used to go out all the time but now she doesn’t go out much in the city because she’s traveling more for work.

“In between travel,  I just wanna have a night in, make food, sit on the couch [and] watch a good show,” she said. “There’s such a beautiful, calm, serene side to Miami. I think you can be so healthy [and active] here. You can be outside and lively, and I feel like that’s the Miami that I know now.”
