“They’ve been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” a source tells PEOPLE of theWe Live in Timeactor, 41, and theA Complete Unknownactress, 34.

Reps for Garfield and Barbaro did not respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

The two posed together atWMagazine’s annual Best Performances party in Los Angeles on Jan. 4, alongsideEddie Redmayneand Lynn Hirschberg.

Ina video postedon social media Thursday, Feb. 20, the pair, who were dressed casually, including in baseball caps, could be seen chatting before the show began.

Garfield was most recently known to be in a relationship with spiritual readerKate Tomas. The two were firstlinked in March 2024but had split “months” before Tomas revealed in October thatthey were no longer together.

During an interview withEsquirein October 2024, the Oscar-nominatedTick, Tick … Boom!actor made it clear he has no interest in sharing details of his personal life and romantic relationships with the public.

“I have never, and Iwon’t ever, speak about or confirm or denyanything about my personal life with anyone, ever," Garfield said.
