In a post shared to Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 12, Hathaway, 42, wrote, “Three movies with Garry Marshall? Color me grateful. Valentine’s Day came out FIFTEEN years ago.”
In the caption to the post, which included a clip of one of her scenes from the film, Hathaway added: “enjoy this clip (where I inexplicably decided to give the character ‘Katya’ a southern drawl 😂 ) Happy Valentine’s Sugar💘”
“Hi,” she answers, as she clumsily knocks her helmet to the ground. “Oh, I was thinking about you all night long. Oh I’m sorry I didn’t answer on the first ring. It’s not my fault. I was thinking about what you were gonna do to me and I just couldn’t wait. I didn’t have a free hand.”
At that, a woman walking her dog comes up alongside Liz, saying, “If he says, ‘Yes,’ it’ll take me a minute to change.”

The movie centered on different couples spending the Valentine’s holiday together.
In addition toValentine’s Day, Hathaway also starred in Marshall’sThe Princess Diariesfilms, and has said that the late director helped her make it big in the industry.
“I had no idea what I was doing. I was just doing my best,” Hathawaytold ABCin 2020 of being cast inThe Princess Diariesat age 18. “And Garry really crafted that performance to be the best it possibly could be. And that’s how I was introduced to the world.The Princess Diarieschanged my life.”
She added: “He went out of his way to make sure that I knew why it was important to be a good person in this business. I realize that in situations when you go onto sets and things are stressful and people are freaked out and people are fighting, you can still bring the joy, ‘cause Garry taught me how to bring the joy.”
