However, it’s not only a return toSpecial Forcesthat would bring Trista back to television screens.

“I would love to doTraitors,” she says, referring to thePeacock’s Emmy-nominated psychological reality competition series, which challenges faithful contestants to sniff out a number of secret saboteurs among them in an effort to win a cash prize. “I mean, that seems like so much fun. And they have challenges on there too.”

The mom of two is also open to other opportunities becauseSpecial Forces“wasn’t around back when I was first on reality television, so you never know what other shows are going to come out.”

Despite her decision to withdraw fromSpecial Forces, Trista says Ryan is “proud of me.”

“I think he was proud of me back then when I said yes [to the show] and I know he’s proud of me now,” she says. “I think vicariously, he would’ve loved to live through me… To continue on in the show. But we’ve talked about it and it’s hard because the way that I left, I was really at peace with leaving.”

“I was in a really bad place after the beach,” she continues. “Hypothermic shock is no joke. My lips were turning blue. I was turning blue and couldn’t lift my head, had lockjaw. It was really scary.”

The television personality adds that Ryan “knows when I left and why I left, and he keeps reminding me, ‘You, thank God, didn’t get permanently hurt.’”

While noting that the hypothermic shock was “pretty temporary,” she was worried about “what could have happened afterwards.”

“He’s my biggest fan and he’s proud of me,” she concludes. “But I kind of wish I could have made him more proud.”
