Benjamin Hollingsworth is a dad of three.

When announcing the birth of his third child, Benjaminadmitted on Instagramthat he “always looked at other families with three plus kids and thought ‘man those people are crazy, who does that?'” While the actor said the idea of having a third child “seemed impossible,” he pointed out that “it’s the idea that always seems unattainable.”

“The capacity to expand our hearts lies within us all,” Benjamin wrote. “I’m constantly in awe of how quickly our hearts transform and make room.”

TheCode Blackactor described himself as “hands and heart full-on” with his kids in a 2021interview withParents Canada.

The dad of three wants to instill in his children that family comes first. Speaking toParents Canada, he added, “The bond of the core crew is essential to a happy life.”

In 2018, the actorshared a snapshotof his older son heading off to preschool with his backpack in tow.

“That’s one small step for this little man. One giant leap for the Hollingsworth clan,” Benjamin captioned the Instagram post. Earlier that year, he referred to his firstborn as the“light” of his life.

Benjamin has proudly shown off his eldest child’s artwork, too. In 2023, heposted a picture of a maple leaf paintingthat Hemingway created, along with photos of the two of them wearing Toronto Maple Leafs baseball hats. Benjamin captioned the post, “Let’s gooooooo! Nothing is better than watching playoff hockey with your kid. Except, maybe, when your little boy paints you a huge maple leafs painting 🍁 🥹 ."

Benjamin announced in April 2020 that he and Nila were expecting their third child together. In herpregnancy announcement on Instagram, Nila reflected on how COVID-19 affected her life before Juniper’s birth.

“Oh, the stories we will tell her about the year she was born … We will tell her that I was on bedrest for the first part of my pregnancy while we were home in isolation with her 2 and 3-year-old brothers," Nila wrote. “We will tell her how scared her dad and I were at times … BUT we will also tell her how she fought to stay alive in my tummy … We will tell her how she was always meant to be a part of our family and we will tell her every day how much she’s loved.”

Benjamin officiallybecame a girl dad on Oct. 15, 2020. TheVirgin Riveractor shared his excitement on Instagram, writing, “She caught my heart the second she caught my eyes.”

The dad of three has also shared on Instagram thatJuniper serves as motivationduring his workouts. “Nothing helps me dig deeper than literally pushing my motivation in front of me. One look in those eyes and I have all the fuel I need to push on," Benjamin wrote in 2021.

While her older brothers entered kindergarten and second grade in September 2023,Juniper attended her first day of preschool.
