Benny Blanco Admits He's 'So Scared' Selena Gomez Is Going to 'Wake Up' and Change Her Mind About Him

In a new cover story forInterviewMagazine, the producer/musician, 36, revealed that he’s “so scared” his fiancée, 32, will change her mind about him.

“I worship the ground she walks on and I feel like she’s the same way to me,” Blanco told the publication of his relationship with Gomez. “There’s no ego between us. She’s praying for me to win and I’m praying for her to win.”

He continued: “And I wake up in the morning—I know she does the same thing—and I’m like, ‘How can I make her life better?’ Holding her isn’t close enough. I want to be inside of her whole body. I just feel a thing for her that I can’t even explain. I’m so sappy.'”

“I just smile all day,” he added. “I’m so scared she’s just going to wake up and be like, ‘What? No.'”

Gomez replied that Blanco is “stuck” with her.

Elsewhere in the interview, the couple discussed working on their first surprise album together,I Said I Love You First, which is due March 21.

While they were “scared” to make a record together, they had a plan should things go awry.

“We said at the beginning, ‘If this ever is weird, we cancel it f—ing immediately,'” said Blanco. “Because we knew what we had was so important.”

Added Gomez: “I definitely didn’t feel any sort of pressure. I was maybe just nervous with jitters in the beginning, and then slowly but surely it was happening and it sort of fell into place with a lot of hard work and love.”

On Thursday, Feb. 13, the “Come & Get It” hitmaker announced that she and her fiancé worked together on her new albumI Said I Love You First, which is set to release on Friday, March 21.

The project is Gomez and Blanco’s first project together as a couple.

She continued: “Our first song, ‘Scared of Loving You,’ is out now on all streaming platforms. Merchandise and signed products for the album are available for pre-order now. We can’t wait to share this special project with you soon!”
