Six months after her wedding, a bride was surprised — and “annoyed” — to find out that one of her wedding guests took photos with herbouquetwithout her knowing.
In a post onReddit’s “Wedding” forum, the bride wrote that her wedding day was as “perfect as it could’ve been,” especially as she had “the most beautiful” flowers in her bouquet. Explaining the special design, she said she asked the florist to make small bouquets for the bridesmaids each containing a different type of wildflower and then a bridal bouquet for her featuring a mix of all the flowers.
The bride was thrilled with her bouquet. However, at some point during her wedding day, she noticed that the bouquet “looked weird,” so she took a moment to unpin it and rearrange the blooms. At the time, she wrote, “I thought I might’ve messed them up.”
But then, six months later, a guest — her husband’s cousin — posted a photo on social media of herself posing with the bouquet at the wedding. “It all makes sense,” the bride wrote of now understanding why her bouquet suddenly didn’t look right on the day.

“This girl, at some time at my wedding, took my flowers and posed with them. I cannot remember if it was before or after the ceremony, but still my flowers were in my suite at all times and only left if I was holding them,” she wrote.
“I don’t think I’ll call her out because I’ve only met her once before my wedding, but is this not weird?!” the bride asked the Reddit community, before noting that she dried out the flowers from her bouquet to preserve them as a keepsake.
“My husband says at the end of the day we still have the flowers so it’s no big deal, and he’s right, but I just wanted to rant and say I’m annoyed,” she concluded her post.

“I can’t imagine caring about this,” one commenter wrote. “No, it’s not weird to take a photo op with a pretty bouquet. Sounds like she was having fun and celebrating.”
Someone else put it more bluntly: “This is so insanely dramatic. They’re flowers. Who cares?”

Still, other commenters agreed with the bride’s stance that it was a bit weird of the guest to pose with her flowers.
“Just an odd thing to do,” one person wrote. “Definitely not ill-intentioned or malicious, but a tacky thing to do nonetheless.”
Another chimed in: “Is it something to be angry about? No. It’s just a weird, cringey thing that someone did.”
Several Redditors encouraged the bride to let the bouquet drama go and move on. “I would just take it as a compliment that she liked your flowers and not let it take away from your newlywed bliss,” one person urged.
Another made the point that the photo discovery shouldn’t have any impact on the bride. “You got your wedding, your marriage and the dried bouquet. Get on with your life; that photo changed NOTHING,” they wrote.
