Bronwyn Newport’s dress for the upcomingReal Housewives of Salt Lake Cityreunion show is going to look very familiar to fashion fans.

Newport was actually able to get Kloss' Carolina Herrera dress from the 2021 Met Gala for the show — but she didn’t just borrow it, she bought it.

“The reunion is coming! So grateful to @wesgordon and @carolinaherrera for taking Karlie Kloss’ actual Met Gala dress out of their archive and tailoring and selling to me for both this big day and my own collection,” Newport wrote on Instagram. “The dress on the Met Gala carpet was meant to symbolize America’s flower, the rose at the In America: A Lexicon of Fashion event. For me, it was a symbol of my hope for blossoming friendships in future after watching myself throughout the season, as long as we can all get past each other’s thorns! I also wanted to bookend my first season the way I started it… in big red shoulders!”

She shared a few photos of herself getting fitted for the dress and having it tailored to fit her properly so she could add it to her closet and wear it for the season 5 reunion.

Much like Kloss, Newport, 39, carried a rosette-adorned clutch with the look, but she paired her dress with red strappy heels, whereas the model wore black for fashion’s biggest night.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Newport actually purchased the designer gown for the reunion show. Christian Siriano revealed in October last year that the Housewife is the only one in his experience who iswilling to actually spend “real money.“He even called her his “No. 1 customer.”

The confession, which was on an episode ofWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenwas prompted when host Andy Cohen asked the designer if he’d ever dressed a Housewife. “I meanever? Maybe. But listen, they’re not on my list because one, they don’t pay,” Siriano admitted, which came as a shock to the audience, as he’s known for outfitting the who’s-who of Hollywood. “They don’t!” he confirmed.
