Bruno MarsandLady Gagawill be paying tribute to Los Angeles at the2025 Grammy Awards.
Ahead of the Grammys, on Sunday, Feb. 2, the Recording Academy announced that the singers are set to perform “a special tribute” in honor of L.A. following the devastatingwildfires in the city.
Gaga, 38, and Mars, 39, who collaborated on the hit 2024 song “Die With a Smile,” were first confirmed as performers on the Recording Academy’s officialInstagramon Friday, Jan. 31. However, it’s unclear whether the artists will perform their chart-topping duet at the awards ceremony, or a different song.
The announcement comes afterGaga performed in tribute to L.A.at theFireAid benefit concertat Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The “Disease” singer closed out the concert with a touching three-song set which included a solo version of “Shallow” fromA Star Is Bornand a new song she wrote with her fiancéMichael Polanskyin response to the wildfires.
“This has been a horrible, scary time,” Gaga said onstage, referring to the fires, which havekilled 29 peoplesince they began on Jan. 7. “But during these times I feel like people come together and we see how much we need each other. And I want to always remember us just like this.”
Gaga wrote onInstagramafter the concert on Friday, Jan. 31, “It was such an honor to sing @FireAidLA for you during this incredibly challenging time. Thank you for having me, and thank you to everyone who donated. I love you CALIFORNIA, we’ll keep moving forward 🙏🖤.”
