Caitlin Clarkkept a (mostly) low profile while supporting herboyfriendin the Big East Tournament.
Clark sported a Butler t-shirt to the game and sat behind her boyfriend’s team’s bench during the action. She kept a low profile in a Butler baseball cap and a black hoodie.
Though in some moments, Clark — who has been dating McCaffery since April 2023 — was seen standing and “yelling in frustration,” according to thePost, while reacting to the matchup.

McCaffery — the son of longtime Iowa Hawkeyes basketball head coach Fran McCaffery — joined Butler’s basketball team as an assistant coach in September 2024 after working as a basketball development coordinator for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers — who share a home arena with Clark’s Indiana Fever.
The couple met while they were both student-athletes at the University of Iowa as Clark was becoming the biggest college basketball star in the country.

McCaffery was a four-star recruit, arriving at Iowa in the 2017 recruiting class, and was named a five-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, three-time NABC Honors Court, two-time Academic All-District First Team, two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and NABC Honors Court honoree, according toHawkeye Sports.

When McCaffery announced his new role at Butler in September, Clark celebrated her beau’s accomplishment in a post on Instagram. “Yayyy!!! So happy for you,” Clark wrote.
In October 2024, Clark and McCaffery made their red carpet debut together at theGolden Gala fundraiser, which benefits the Indiana Pacers Foundation.
