Chrissy Teigenis just a regular mom!

The model andcookbook authorshared a relatable parenting moment with her youngestchildren, Esti and Wren, via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Feb. 12. After whipping them up a delicious-looking meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots, the siblings refused to touch their dinner — much to her annoyance!

“Please eat it, please eat it. Can you please try it?” she pleads with the pair, who are sitting in highchairs and wearing bibs.

In a subsequent story, 39-year-old Teigen said, “To all the moms struggling out there with dinner, it does not matter. You can spend three hours making it or five minutes making it, it doesn’t matter. They hate it.”

The kids’ refusal to touch their dinner was particularly annoying for Teigen as her Instagram Story posts from earlier in the evening had shown her painstakingly creating the meal from scratch. However, she did reveal one shortcut she uses — powdered mashed potatoes.

“These are so good and took me 4 minutes,” she reveals in the post. “I’m losing it over how good they are, nobody’s going to know.”

The sweet bathtime snap, shared on Saturday, Feb. 8, shows Teigen and three of her children in the tub. Several commenters gushed that it was a relatable post for mothers, while others argued it was “weird” and the children deserved “privacy.”

Others, meanwhile, questioned Teigen about the color of her bath water.

“Why is she always in dirty bathwater?” one person wrote, to which Teigen hit back, saying, “It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!”

Meanwhile, in the aftermath of theCalifornia wildfires, Teigen’s husbandJohn Legend, 46, revealed in a new interview that the family is considering relocating to N.Y.C.

“Chrissy and I have always considered returning to New York, where we once lived. We probably will, once our youngest ones grow up a bit,” he toldThe Wall Street Journalon Tuesday, Feb. 11.

He shared that the recentwildfires— which killed at least 29 people and left thousands more without a home — have played a role in his thought process, saying, “every time nature shows its wrath, we wonder if it’s time to head back east. Who knows?”
