Christina Haack and Ex Ant Anstead Are Spending Time Together Off Camera at Son's Play After Reconciling

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead are showing off their newly rectified relationship.

The exes posed together for a photo with their son Hudson, 5, that they then shared as ajoint Instagram post. “Our little gentleman CRUSHED his school performance this morning.He’s thriving x,” they captioned the post, adding several applause and heart face emojis.

This is the former couple’s first joint post sincetheir split in 2020, which came after less than two years of marriage.

Anstead, 45, appeared as a guest judge on the Feb. 19 episode, in whichChristina revealed how they healed their relationshipshortly after her July 2024split from her third husband, Josh Hall.

After not speaking more than necessary to share custody for years, “he gave me a huge hug. We hadn’t hugged in years,” Christina said in the confessional-style clip. “He just said, ‘I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through, and I’m here for you no matter what you need.’ It was a very nice moment. We had a long talk after and we decided to put all the BS aside and be good co-parents.”

Last summer,fans watched as they re-followed each other on Instagramand slowly began sharing friendly messages on social media. Christina’s confession shed light on what had happened while the cameras were off for the first time.

TheBorn Mechanichost’s judging session later in the episodeshocked both viewers and the show’s competing starswhen he declared Christina, 41, the week’s winner. The surprise wasn’t that he chose is ex wife in the design competition, but that he chose herbecauseof their personal bond.

“I came into this endeavor thinking this was about assessing and judging based on the performance, the design, the execution, the house. But actually, it dawned on me that it was so much more than that,” Anstead tells Christina, Tarek, and Heather in the episode.

He turns to just Christina and continues: “Hudson is five now. And in those five years, it’s been really, really difficult. And that changed three months ago. The relationship that we have now is really, really important. And it’s been a transformation.”

However, she later shut down the idea while speaking to Backgrid, saying, “It would be good for ratings, butI can’t work with any more exes. I already work with Tarek.”

Since her split from Josh,Christina has entered into a new relationship with businessman Christopher Larocca,who also made a briefcameo in the finale ofThe Flip Off.Anstead has beendating Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellwegersince 2021 after they met on the set of his discovery+ show,Celebrity IOU Joyride.
