No one is safe on The Odyssey!
In PEOPLE’s sneak peek ofDoctor Odyssey’s two-part “Shark Attack!” event, Max (Joshua Jackson), Avery (Phillipa Soo) and Tristan (Sean Teale) navigate the perils of the high seas and the aftermath of theirménage à trois— and the resulting pregnancy.

He is then rushed to the medical center. As Max begins to assess his condition, he says, “Level four, shark bite injury to the arm and leg.”
“Level one injuries to the abdomen,” a new doctor (Adrianne Palicki) adds but Avery is less than welcoming, asking, “Not to be overly formal, but who are you?”
“Dr. Brooke Lane, licensed trauma surgeon,” she responds.
Captain Robert Massey (Don Johnson) knows there is more trouble ahead, he says, “Sharks are territorial. They hold grudges. We’re moving right through their breeding waters,” as Avery knocks on Max’s door only to discover Brooke in a towel.

“Wow,” Avery says before she walks away with Max standing in the hallway.
As they race to save the endangered people on the raft, the Captain realizes they could also be in harm’s way.
“[With] water temperatures rising, sharks are faster, they’re hungrier,” he declares.
“What is that noise?” Max asks they search the open water and he peeks his head over the edge of the boat. The clip then cuts to a shark on the attack.
“It’s going to be okay, nothing bad ever happens on the Odyssey, right?” Avery concludes.
