When an exasperated Thompson explained that the answer to the question wasSaturday Night Live, Jones asked, “What day do they tape on?”

Thompson also told Murphy’s Morgan that he starred onSNLalongsideTina Fey, to which Murphy yelled out, “What is30 Rock?”

Morgan was a cast member onSNLfrom 1996 to 2003. Murphy was on the show from 1980 to 1984, and Jones from 2014 to 2019. Thompson is currentlySNL’s longest-running cast member, having first joined the cast as a featured player in 2003.

Chris Rockalso made an appearance in the sketch as himself, to provide a clue about Dana Carvey’s character Church Lady, as well asTom Hanks, who reprised his character Doug, a White contestant with opposing political views from the host.
