Eiza Gonzálezisn’t a “one look kind of girl” when it comes to fashion. What she wears depends on her mood, where she is in the world or, she admits, “it depends on who I’m dating.”
The actress, 35, reveals this when asked about her ideal date-night look in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE to talk about her new role asDavid Yurman’s new global brand ambassador, which was announced on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).
“I don’t know if this is a known thing about me, but I like quite masculine and feminine things at the same time,” González says. “I remember seeing the iconic Cable bracelet for the first time on a guy and stealing it from him, taking it off from his arm and wearing it the entire night. I remember just being obsessed with it.”

Now, González, alongside model Iris Law, stars in David Yurman’s Spring 2025 Sculpted Cable campaign, which celebrates the iconic design that she’s come to know and love — and has turned into a staple in her own wardrobe.

González’s taste in bling is much like her sense of style: experimental and bold. “Stacking is my jam. I’m a stackable kind of girl,” she says, adding that, because she’s a big fan of “dainty silhouettes,” the Cable bracelets fit right into her jewelry rotation.

González’s personal connection to jewelry began with her family. “We didn’t grow up with money. So, when my father was able to purchase jewelry, it became heirlooms, and it was monumental for us to get my mother to get a good pair of earrings or get a beautiful watch. It was lovely the way that she took care of those,” she tells PEOPLE, adding that a special piece isn’t just “something that comes and goes.”
This is what makes partnering with David Yurman so special for her. “I’m completely in love with the way that it’s a family-built brand,” she shares of founders David and Sybil, who are also husband and wife, and their son Evan, all of whom are very much involved with the brand. “I’m just really honored to join the Yurman family. I’m incredibly grateful for them for thinking of me."
The actress, who is of Mexican descent, also hopes that through her ambassadorship she can inspire others. “As a woman and an immigrant, I’m really glad that I get to represent women around the world in a way that they can see themselves in this campaign and think, ‘That could be me.'”
