Erica Mena is a mom of three.

Over a decade after becoming a first-time mom, Mena welcomed two children with Safaree Samuels: daughter Safire and son Legend. Mena and Samuels tied the knot in October 2019, thoughshe filed for divorceless than two years later when she was pregnant with Legend.

While speaking to Carlos, Mena credited the arrival of her firstborn son King with setting “the tone for how” she would “hustle moving forward.” She explained, “Because as a young mom, you don’t realize the layers to being a mom, I should say.”

In the same interview, Mena revealed that King, then 16, would graduate high school that year. “I am so proud," she gushed.

While Mena has lived her life in front of the camera, appearing onLove & Hip Hopfor over a decade, King has preferred to stay out of the spotlight. According to the model, King is “very vocal” about “not wanting to be in the public eye."

Mena has also avoided sharing photos of her oldest child to respect his privacy, save for a few sweet moments like the timeshe snapped him holding his little sister Safire’s handin 2021.

Safire Majesty Samuels, 5

Mena’s second child, daughter Safire Majesty Samuels, was born on Feb. 3, 2020. Mena shares Safire with her ex-husband and formerLove & Hip Hop: New Yorkcostar Samuels.

Samuels announced Safire’s birth on Instagram with a photo of her hand wrapped around one of his fingers. “These past 24 hrs have been an adventure to say the least!! I’m a part of the #girldad club now,” he wrote alongside the since-deleted picture. “Perfection is here.”

At just 5 years old, Safire already has her ownInstagram account— which has over 150,000 followers. Many of the posts feature Safire with her mom and younger brother Legend. She also appears to be a budding fashionista. In 2022, shetwinned with her mom in Fashion Novatracksuits. The following year, she wore areplica version of her mother’s wedding dress. “I really made a better version of me. ♥️✨,” Mena penned in the post.

In 2024,Mena celebrated Safire’s 4th birthdaywith a sweet post on Instagram, describing her daughter as “incredibly smart,” “kind” and curious.

“I’m going to continue to give you everything I can that’s the BEST in this world,” she added.

Legend Brian Samuels, 3

Legend Brian Samuels, Mena’s third child and second with Samuels, was born in June 2021. A month before Legend’s arrival, Mena filed for divorce from Samuels.

After he was born, Legend spent time in the NICU, which made the reality star feel “guilty, confused and scared."

“This whole experience has taught how important it is to protect my peace,” she wrote on Instagram, according toThe Shade Room. “How important it is to turn my pain into power. It has also given me a different type of strength for not only me but my kids. King - Safire - Legend I promise you your mommy will make you proud. No more settling and fighting for anything that doesn’t deserve me only because you three forever deserve the best of me.”

Legend has appeared on his big sister’s Instagram account, including for hisfirst birthday in 2022. In the photo, Safire and Legend posed in coordinating black-and-white outfits in front of a black, white and gold backdrop. “It’s My Best Friend’s 1st Birthday. It’s forever US Together. I Love you Lege," read the caption.
