A 55-year-old Georgia man remains missing after a motorcycle crash several months ago.
Since the missing persons report was made, police were able to determine that on Nov. 9, 2024, a motorcycle registered to Brown was involved in an accident on Highway 136 in Dawson County.
Over a month later, on Dec. 30, an abandoned truck registered to Brown was located in the Wildcat Campground in Dawson County, according to police, who noted in their statement that nobody around the vehicle at the time.
Then, on Jan. 27, the Sheriff’s Office posted about his disappearance onsocial mediain the hopes of generating additional leads.
Police say they are treating this as a missing persons case and they have no reason to believe Brown has been “a victim of a crime or has committed any criminal act.”

Speaking with WNAF, Brown’s daughter Sara Ellis said “there’s been no signs of him anywhere,” and that it’s very unusual for him to not be in contact with his family.
But, as she told WNAF, no matter what they’ve done, “It’s just dead end after dead end.”
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office encourages people with information on Brown’s whereabouts to call 706-253-8900 or 9-1-1.
