Gisele Bündchenis officially a mom of three!

The two began dating in June 2023 afterfirst sparking romance rumorsin November 2022. Valente worked as Bündchen’s jiu-jitsu instructor following herdivorce from Brady, to whom she was married for 13 years.

Bündchen has previously spoken about the challenges of parenting her children as a single mom, telling PEOPLE in September 2023 that it’d been “tough” on the family.

She added in an interview with Robin Roberts in March 2024 that her childrenoperated under different ruleswhen they were with her versus their father, and learning how to co-parent together was a work in progress.

“I think there are easier days than others but I think it’s amazing that the kids…they’re super smart children. They know what they can get away with," Bündchen said of co-parenting with Brady.

“So I think it’s natural that [our houses] have different rules and then kids just adapt. And they’re going to try to do what they want. And I can only control what I do. And I think for me, now is really about the balance,” she said.

Bündchen’s son, Benjamin, was born on Dec. 8, 2009, in Boston, in a home birth, which the supermodel said she was insistent on — andBrady was initially against.

“It was a home birth and it was funny because he didn’t want me to have a home birth,” she shared on the ESPN+ seriesMan in the Arena: Tom Bradyin December 2021. “He was like, ‘Absolutely not,’ and I was like, ‘Excuse me, you don’t get to choose that, it’s my body.’ "

Shortly after his birth, the model referred to Benjamin as her “little angel,” crediting her mother for helping her get through the first few challenging months of becoming a parent.

“My mother [Vania] accompanied me since before Benjamin’s birth,” she told Brazil’sFolha de Sao Paulonewspaper. “She gave me great support. I couldn’t ask God for more support than this.”

Now, Benjamin has started to follow in his father’s footsteps, with an interest in football. In September 2023, Bündchen even revealed that he was wearing the same iconic jersey number 12 as his father as he began his athletic career in school.

“He just started, andhis first game was so nice,” the proud mom told PEOPLE. “It was nice to go because I had all the little friends come to me and be like, ‘Oh my God, I love Benny. I love Vivi. They’re so nice. He helped me with this.’ "

Bündchen and Brady’s only daughter, Vivian, was born on Dec. 5, 2012, in Boston. The little girl has since developed a love for fashion and horseback riding,enjoying a lessonwith her mom in October 2022.

Though Bündchen retired from modeling 2015, she’s made appearances in magazines and runways since, including an October 2022ELLEcover. Shebrought her daughter along for the photoshootin Paris, later sharing with the outlet Vivian’s sweet reaction to seeing her mom all dolled up.

“She saw me with all these different hairdos and makeup — she didn’t understand why,” she toldELLEwith a laugh. “She’s like, ‘Mommy, you look so much prettier without all that! Why are they touching you? Can they stop?’ "

Now, Vivian is entering her teenage years soon — and Bündchen is getting ready. In March 2024, the entrepreneur opened up toThe Tonight ShowhostJimmy Fallonon what it was likeraising teenagers and pre-teens, jokingly warning him of the potential dangers to come.

“You wait,” Bündchen teased. “I mean, it’s amazing having teenagers and pre-teens, but…”

She added that “you learn so much” with that age group and how to alter communication styles.

“The most important thing [is] you have to make time to have conversations, because, I think, you know, they are changing, every day is a whole new world,” the supermodel said. “And it’s so important to kind of talk, it’s a huge thing.”

Two years after her divorce from Brady was finalized, a source close to Bündchen confirmed that the model was expecting her third child with her boyfriend — the first for the couple, who have been dating since June 2023.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” the source told PEOPLE.

Valente is no stranger to Bündchen’s family life. The pair were first spotted with her older kids in Costa Rica in November 2022.
