The last episode ofPlanBri Uncut, which featured comedic episodes about how to navigate life in your twenties through shared experiences, was released on Oct. 20. In the months that followed, rumors started to swirl online about the co-hosts and their friendship status.

Reps for LaPaglia, O’Malley and Barstool did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

“I’m always gonna have love for Grace [and] will always cherish everything that we did withPlanBri,” she explained, addressing her recent silence on the matter. “I’ve just kinda let everyone make their own opinions.”

As to why she decided to speak out, LaPaglia said the time came where she had to “lay it all out there” and “defend” herself. She then explained the origins ofPlanBri Uncut, noting that it began as a solo podcast in college before asking O’Malley to join upon their move to New York together.

Elsewhere in the podcast, LaPaglia said the breakdown of her friendship with O’Malley began as she datedZach Bryan— who she split from in October this year — claiming that O’Malley “never defended me” despite knowing about the alleged emotional abuse she dealt with from the singer.

O’Malley claimed it was the first time she was “hearing about” LaPaglia’s new plans for the podcast.

“[I’m] proud of what we built, nostalgic for all these years and frankly outright heartbroken that this chapter has closed," she said, perUs Weekly. “But, we agreed to make a joint statement, so I replied, cried, and chose not to repost or say anything until it was time."

O’Malley then deemed her time on the podcast the “favorite part of this chapter” of her life, noting that she was “eternally grateful“ to get to “work with my best friend.” She also made it clear that she planned to stay with Barstool and would be back “chit-chatting on a weekly basis.”
