Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Come Together for Daughter Apple’s Society Debut: See the Family Photos

Gwyneth PaltrowandChris Martinare coming together to celebrate their daughter.

The proud parents, whofinalized their divorcein 2015, spent time together in Paris earlier this week as their 20-year-old daughterApple Martinmade hersociety debut at the Le Bal des Débutanteson Saturday, Nov. 30.

Paltrow, 52, shared a carousel of photos and clips from her weekend in the French capital viaInstagramon Sunday, Dec. 1, some of which featured her ex-husband, 47.

“A special long weekend in Paris,” the actress captioned the post.

The first visual in the celebratory post was a video of the actress’s cloudy view from the airplane as she flew overseas. Next, she shared a mirror selfie of her and her daughter, who was wearing an elaborate custom Valentino gown, whichVoguereports took Valentino Creative DirectorAlessandro Michele’s atelier 750 hours to make.

In the photo, Paltrow posed with her daughter in a long, simple black ensemble with a belt at the waist and gold jewelry.

The third slide showed a snap seemingly featuring Martin andtheir son Moses, 18, as they sat on a bench outside with their backs toward the camera.

Paltrow continued the carousel with another family snap, including the Coldplay frontman, at the formal event. TheIron Manalum wore a glittery sheer black gown from Valentino’s spring 2025 collection for the occasion. The dress featured ruffle details throughout, mainly along the neckline, sleeves and skirt.

Martin and Moses also dressed up for the occasion in simple Valentino tuxes. The “Fix You” singer wore his with a bowtie and a pin that says “love,” while Moses rocked a blazer with an exaggerated lapel. Meanwhile, Danner, 81, wore a long gray skirt with a textured white blazer and a pearl necklace.

The carousel finished with images of Danner at the dinner table with model Boris Kodjoe and designer David Netto, and a photo of Paltrow and Apple embracing each other at the debutante event.

Le Bal introduces about 20 women between the ages of 16 and 22 into society — withLily CollinsandMargaret Qualleyamong the women who made their debuts in recent years.

“My beautiful daughter in @maisonvalentino,” she wrote.

Last year, Paltrow opened up toPEOPLE in an exclusive interviewabout raising her children with Martin aftertheir split in 2014– during which they announced they were “consciously uncoupling.”

She said of Martin at the time, “He has this sweet child-like spirit, and I love that he will be like, ‘Let’s go jump in the ocean,’ when it’s 58 degrees,' or, ‘Let’s go to this weird guitar store.’ He always wants to do these fun adventures with them and activities."

Paltrow also admired how the English singer “has a real sweetness. And so he brings that to the way that he parents them … He’s sort of gone a lot, he’s on the road a lot, but he brings — it’s almost like he comes and sprinkles fairy dust.”
