The disgraced producer shares three daughters with his first wife, Eve Chilton: Remy, Emma and Ruth. After the couple split in 2004, Weinstein went on to marry Marchesa co-founderGeorgina Chapmanin 2007. They welcomed their daughter, India, in 2010 and son, Dashiell, in 2013.

In 2017, Chapmanfiled for divorcefrom the Hollywood exec following accusations of sexual assault and rape, for which he is now serving a23-year sentenceand16-year sentenceafter being convicted in both New York in 2020 and California in 2023, respectively. However, in April 2024, Weinstein’srape conviction was overturnedin N.Y.

Now, Weinstein’s elder daughters are living a life out of the public eye, while his younger two children have developed a close bond with Chapman’s now-partner,Adrien Brody.

After Brodywon the Oscar for Best Actorat the 2025 Academy Awards, he gave them a shout-out in his acceptance speech, saying, “Dash and India, I know this has been a roller coaster but thank you for accepting me into your life and Popsy’s coming home a winner.”

The following day, Weinstein issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying he was “grateful” for his kids' relationship with Chapman and Brody.

“Harvey is happy for Georgina and gratefulthat his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be,” Weinstein’s representative told PEOPLE.

Weinstein welcomed three daughters with his first wife, Chilton, whom he married in 1987 after she was working as his assistant at Miramax, the company he co-founded. The two welcomed three daughters together between 1995 and 2002 before divorcing in 2004.

Remy, Emma and Ruth have mainly remained out of the public eye, though Remy, who was born Lily, attended a number of events with her father before he was accused of assault in 2017.

In 2014, she attended The Weinstein Company & Netflix’s 2014 Golden Globes After Party and in May 2017 — just months before an investigation into her dad was published — she joined him at the International Centre For Missing & Exploited Children’s Gala.

While police concluded that it was “just a family dispute,” a source elaborated to PEOPLE that “Harvey and Remy had a yelling argument, and Harvey left her house upset.”

“He seemed stressed out and very unhappy,” they added.

In December 2017, Chilton requested that Weinsteinpay her an outstanding $5 millionin child support that he allegedly owed before his legal troubles left him financially incapable of paying.

“He’s pre-paying many, many lawyers many, many millions of dollars to defend himself against these lawsuits all over the world,” Chilton’s lawyer, Bonnie Rabin, said in the Manhattan Supreme Court, according toPage Six.

Steven Silpe, Weinstein’s lawyer, denied that the producer ever missed a child support payment. “He has made every single payment for nearly 14 years,” he said in a statement.

A source added to PEOPLE that Weinstein’s eldest daughter emancipated herself “from her mother’s care” four years prior and “remains extremely close with her father and she does not speak to her mother.”

After marrying Chapman in 2007, Weinstein and the fashion designer welcomed their first child together, India, on Aug. 30, 2010.

Ahead of India’s 7th birthday, Chapman shared withForbesthat her daughter was named after the country (where her grandmother was born).

After becoming pregnant with India, the designer said her priorities shifted to being a present mother for her children — a challenge in her demanding job as the co-head of Marchesa.

She continued, “It changed the way I approach work. It freed me in many ways. Your whole value system changes once you have children. They become your priority.”

“She’s obsessed,” Chapman added of India’s love of riding and horses. “And when she’s notwitha horse she’s pretending tobea horse. I’ve had to look at my life, and maybe I’m going to create something better for my children out of this.”

Dashiell

Three years after having India, Weinstein welcomed his first son, Dashiell, on April 11, 2013. Shortly after his birth, Weinstein shared during an appearance onCBS This Morningthat he was happy to have a boy in his family.

He added that they named their son after author Dashiell Hammett, who wroteThe Thin Man— a book Weinstein referenced on his first date with Chapman.

The actor told PEOPLE in April 2023 that the last time he was shocked was when the little boy asked him a confounding question: “My girlfriend’s 9-year-old son recently asked me — quite seriously: ‘What would you rather eat? Ice cream that tastes like s— ors— that tastes like ice cream?’ " he recalled.
