Hilary Duff Jokes She’s ‘Evil’ for Resharing Daughter’s Valentine’s Day Meltdown from 2024

Hilary Duffmixed some mischief in her Valentine’s Day post.

TheLizzie McGuirealum, 37, posted several pictures and videos from throughout the years via Instagram Stories to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Duff couldn’t help but add a little humor into the otherwise heartfelt message.

In several slides, she showed a seemingly normal celebration, with pictures of her daughters, Banks Violet, 6, and Mae James, 3, dressed in white, pink and red. The last image showed Mae James having a meltdown because her balloon flew away.

“I can’t help it. I know I’m evil, but it makes me chuckle,” she wrote on a picture of her daughter’s balloon flying away. After she posted two more photos zooming in closer to her daughter’s face, before posting a selfie of herself with the text “Do I keep zooming ??” above it.

Since welcoming her fourth child, the singer and actress has noticed she’s the “chillest” of all her babies. Duff has also become calmer in her parenting approach as her family has grown.

In an interview with PEOPLE, before Duff became a mom of four, the actress revealed that she loves the “mayhem” of raising her kids.

“I love when everyone’s full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid’s going to say,” she said. “We’re in the thick of it, and it feels good.”
