Come on. Let’s go. Let’s do another take!’”“She was amazing,” he recalls. “Everyone on the crew loved her. These things can be exhausting, and you never would have known that with Margo. The pair star alongsideMargo Martindalein the new Amazon Prime seriesThe Sticky, based on the true story of the 2012 “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist,” which Diamantopoulos, a Toronto native, tells PEOPLE is a “sort of Canadian folklore.”

Diamantopoulos’ mobster Mike Byrne teams up with Martindale’s maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry and Guillaume Cyr as security guard Remy Bouchard to pull a multi-million dollar heist on Quebec’s maple syrup surplus.

He notes that working with Curtis and Martindale, 73, “two masters of their craft at the height of their game,” was a “career highlight.”
