Jason Tartickmight be packing his bags soon.
TheBachelorettealum, 36, answered questions from his followers on his Instagram Stories on Monday, Dec. 9, on topics such as dating, moving and dogs.
When one follower asked Tartick if he planned to relocate from Nashville, where he moved in June 2019 to live with then-girlfriendKaitlyn Bristowe, he responded, “I’m going to move in the near future. It’s time. Just figuring out then when.”
The Bachelor Nation couplegot engagedtwo years later, butannounced their breakupin August 2023. Tartick stayed in Nashville to continue to share custody of his and Bristowe’s dogs Pinot and Ramen with his ex.
Tartick stated on his Dec. 9 Instagram Stories that he would continue to talk about the dogs, and that he planned to rescue another pup in 2025.

“Prior to June 2019, before we moved in together, my ex and I never had a candid conversation about money,” he writes. “I never told her the important numbers that defined my financial health, and she didn’t tell me hers. Hell, I didn’t even ask. I did everything I criticize and teach not to do now — I made financial assumptions and avoided talking money! At move-in time, we didn’t have transparency on each other’s financial status, and we didn’t have a plan for our financial future together. We were caught up in love and life, which is easy to do, especially when you’re going full steam ahead at 200 miles per hour!”

Tartick also details how he and Bristowe purchased “a joint living asset without a contract,” referring to Ramen, and then did the same thing with Pinot.

Tartick and Stickler, 30,confirmed their breakupin October, and theTrading Secretspodcast host informed his followers on Dec. 9 that he hasn’t started using any dating apps since the split.
“I think the concept of dating apps are great especially for those who don’t want to or don’t have the time to ‘go out’ often to meet someone,” Tartick wrote on his Stories. “That said, I am not on any dating apps. If you see a fake out there lmk!”

“For better or worse, the past can continue to live in the present through your thoughts,” he wrote. “Choose to intercept unproductive or negative thoughts and hold onto the productive and healthy ones instead.”
Tartick told PEOPLE on Halloween that when it came to dating, “I’m mentally not thereright now. I’m just trying to take care of myself right now."
