Jeannie Mai Says She's Not Looking for a Relationship in 2025 After Jeezy Divorce: 'I've Been Busy Dating Myself' (Exclusive)

“I’ve just been taking myself out,” Mai shares at the WWD Style Awards on Jan. 3 at the Four Seasons in L.A. “I’ve been spending a lot of money on myself.”

To celebrate her recent birthday and “Capricorn season,” Mai says she “just took an impromptu trip to Hawaii” for herself. “I just took myself out there, flew a bunch of my girls out.”

She was also traveling over the holidays. “All my family members — I took 16 family members out to Disney World. We all went there for this [past] Christmas.”

Mai adds, “I feel like right now, I’m just celebrating all the things that I love and that love me and that feels like I’m booked dating myself.”

In astatementon Instagram, the “Soul Survivor” artist called his ex’s allegations “false” and “deeply disturbing” as he slammed it as a “malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family.”

At the time, the couplewas still engaged in a custody battle over Monaco.

Their June divorce settlement being placed under seal keeps it private, though, so the nature of their finalized custody agreement is unclear.

Mai previously told PEOPLE thatshe’s planning to “leave” 2024 in the rearview mirroras she kicks off the new year. December,

“The lessons from this year are the lessons for this year. I’m excited for next year. I want to learn new things," she told PEOPLE at theIt’s A Wonderful Lifetime Yuletide Eventin November.

“I learned very humbly that all the things that I believed in worked for me at a certain time in my life. But now, there are a new set of rules because they’re not just for me, they’re for my daughter," she said, referring toher 2-year-old Monaco Mai Jenkins, who she shares with Jeezy.

She also wants to focus on really “listening to myself” this year.

“Like actually listening to my own feelings and not trying to prove myself different when your body’s telling you, ‘No, that that ain’t cool’ or ‘That’s not okay’ or ‘That person is not safe.'”

“Instead of following my own rules from before, I want to leave that there,” she continued. “I want to walk into 2025 like, ‘Who are these new people God’s going to bring me? What are these new situations? How are we going to face forward with all the skills and traits that I’m proud of?’ And to listen to myself and learn new things."
