Katie Holmesis honoring herOur Towncolleagues as the show approaches its final performances.

On Thursday, Jan. 16, the actressshared a photowith costarJim Parsonsseemingly taken behind the scenes of their Broadway play, which officially opened in October 2024 and is set to take its final bow at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City this weekend.

“The final days of @ourtownbroadway are upon us,” Holmes, 46, wrote with the post, which showed her embracing Parsons, 51.

She concluded, “I am so grateful for these beautiful souls that continue to bring Thornton’s words to life. I love you @therealjimparsons.”

The show marks Holmes' return to the Great White Way for the first time in over a decade. She made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival ofAll My Sonsand later starred in 2012’sDead Accounts.

TheDawson’s Creekalum plays Mrs. Webb inOur Townopposite Tony and Emmy winner Thomas, 73, who’s perhaps best known as John-Boy Walton in the CBS drama seriesThe Waltons.

Set It Upactress Deutch, 30, fills out the family as Emily Webb in her Broadway debut, while Emmy-winningBig Bang Theoryalum Parsons — who also starred inMother Playon Broadway ahead ofOur Town —leads the latter as the drama’s “stage manager” narrator.

Speaking with PEOPLE about working with Holmes inOur Townback in October 2024, Deutch called her onstage mother “pure sunshine.”

The actress added that she is grateful for the“warmth and love” she receives from Holmeson and off the stage: “It’s impossible not to feel. She’s a really, very special person.”

Continued Deutch, “I feel very lucky that I get to be with her in this capacity.”
