The multi-hyphenate’s new music video for the song “Afford It,” withDivaGurlis here, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal. Palmer, 31, who stars in the new buddy comedyOne of Them Dayssings about the value in relationships.

“Know you tend to get caught up in the fast life/How many times should’ve been the last time?” she sings in the pre-chorus. “Rather lose a couple thousand/Than to beg for you to be honest.”

“I caught some feelings, can’t afford/Said I wouldn’t fall for it no more/If you with me, better be sure/If it ain’t that, I can’t afford it, can’t afford it,” she continues.

Palmer exclusively tells PEOPLE about her excitement to work with DivaGurl after teaming up with them for the"S.O.B." music video.
