Keller Scott Fornes, star of Great American Family’sCounty Rescue, is dead. He was 32.
Great American Media confirmed the actor’s death in a statement posted onInstagramandXon Monday, Jan. 6.
“His energy and enthusiasm lifted all he worked with here at Great American Media and the cast and crew of County Rescue,” the network continued. “Our prayers are with his family and all those he touched.”
Fornes last posted onInstagramon Dec. 14, sharing various photos of his travels, behind the scenes at work, and time with friends and family.

Fornes played Griffin inCounty Rescue, which was set to begin production for season 2 this month, per apress releaseissued in July.
Fellow costar Kristin Wollett shared various photos from their time on set together onInstagram, writing, “In our hearts. Always. 🤍 Keller Scott Fornes 🤍.”

Throughout his career, Fornes built up various credits with appearances on television shows, includingFound,The Walking DeadandGenius, and movies such asThe Secrets She KeepsandProject ISISX.
Prior to his start in Hollywood, he earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of North Texas in Denton.

In addition to writing, producing, and starring in his own independent films, he “enjoyed painting, drawing, singing and playing the guitar as well as all types of physical challenges,” such as boxing, his obituary adds.
