The Grammy-winningAmerican Idolalum performed a cover of Eilish’s Grammy-nominated hit “Birds of a Feather” for the daily Kellyoke segment ofThe Kelly Clarkson Showon Jan. 29 — and effortlessly stunned with her signature powerhouse vocals.
Sporting a simple red blouse and pants, Clarkson delivered a beautiful rendition of Eilish’sHit Me Hard and Softalbum track that was quite faithful to the original version, which reached No. 2 on theBillboardHot 100 last year.

“Birds of a Feather” is up for three nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards: song of the year, record of the year and best pop solo performance.
Eilish also received nods for best pop duo/group performance with her remix of Charli xcx’s “Guess,” best dance pop recording with “L’Amour de Ma Vie (Over Now Extended Edit)” and both record of the year and best pop vocal album withHit Me Hard and Soft.

The 2025 Grammy Awards will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, and the ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
Clarkson has previously sung covers of several Eilish songs for her show’s Kellyoke segment, including “What Was I Made For?,” “Happier Than Ever,” “lovely,” “idontwannabeyouanymore” and “My Future.”
