On Feb. 23, theBacheloralum revealed in a TikTok and Instagramvideothat she recently got multiple dental veneers and a new crown installed while undergoing treatment for an infected root canal.

She revealed that she “always planned” to get work done on her teeth.

“About seven years ago I was in college and broke three of my front teeth. Ever since then, I haven’t been able to brighten them at all because then you would be able to obviously tell the fake teeth. Also my [previous] two veneers were temporary, so they were chipping really bad,” she said.

However, during a routine dentist appointment, she discovered that she had been suffering from an infected root canal.

Anderson explained that she felt it was best to get her veneers while undergoing a second root canal and treatment to address the bacteria.

The upside to the procedure is that Anderson’s pearly white are exactly how she wanted them. However, she did say she’ll have to wait six months to know if the infection caused enough decay to require bone grafting.

“This has nothing to do with me not liking my smile. I’ve always loved my smile,” Anderson shared, though adding that she’s “always had insecurities” about the condition of her teeth.

Anderson’s comment section was flooded with positive feedback, with many people praising her candor. However, she clarified that she’s not going to let any criticism dim her shine.

“I’m very happy with my smile. If you feel differently that is okay. You do not need to let me know. You can save your energy. I’m happy and I’m healthy and that’s what matters most.”

When it comes to speaking on cosmetic procedures, Anderson is all about being transparent.

Just last week, she posted another TikTok video toaddress speculationsthat she had her ears pinned back.
