Keshais grieving the loss of her beloved cat, Carl.

The singer shared on Friday, Jan. 24 onInstagramthat her cat has died. “Carl my little chicken,” she began her Instagram caption. “You really broke my heart this time.”

The 37-year-old musician also included photos of Carl throughout the years, showing off their sweet bond and his personality. Several images included her cradling the white cat in her arms, at home and outdoors.

The“Tik Tok” singeralso included multiple images of Carl during a photoshoot, showing the feline perfectly posing for the camera.

Kesha, born Kesha Rose Sebert, also shared photos of the cat doing unexpected activities, including sitting at an Ouija board, a drumset, a jukebox, in a Versace shopping bag and besides Kesha’s artwork.

Kesha also shared pictures of Carl posing with other cats and videos of her playing with Carl when he was a kitten and other videos of him playing around.

Several Instagram users expressed their condolences to the singer. “so sorry angel 🥺🩵 . the worst kind of heartbreak,” one user wrote.

One user commented: “So sorry 🥹. rest easy Carl 😢❤️🫶🏼.”

Earlier this month, Keshacelebrated the 15th anniversary of her debut albumAnimal, which featured the hits “Tik Tok,” “Blah Blak Blah” and “Your Love Is My Drug.”
