Kristen Bell Shares PDA-Filled Post Celebrating Husband Dax Shepard's 50th Birthday: 'Cannot Imagine Life Without You'

On Jan. 2, theNobody Wants Thisstar, 44, shared a sweet — and PDA-filled —Instagram tributeto theArmchair Expertpodcaster in honor of his 50th birthday.

“Happy birthday to the most affectionate 220 lbs man that ever exsisted [sic],” she wrote alongside a series of photos of the couple. “I cannot imagine life without you 💚💕”

“The first pic is the first I ever posted on Instagram. The second is from our wedding day,” she added.

In the first snapshot, the actress and her husband, whohave been married since 2013, share a passionate smooch. The second picture shows the pair locking lips while riding in a car together. The post also includes photos of Shepard kissing their daughters and the couple dressed in matching festive pajamas, in addition to more kissing pictures.

In the comment section, Shepard teased, “How dare you make me cry on my big day of turning super old ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

The gushing birthday tribute comes after Shepardjoked about the on-screen romancebetween his wife of 11 years — who is also aGolden Globe nominee— and herNobody Wants ThiscostarAdam Brodyin October.

When asked about his “incredible chemistry” with Bell, Shepard had an unexpected response. “Not as good as her and Brody,” he said ofThe O.C.alum, 45.

“My friend … we watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” Shepard shared of a smooch shared between the pair on the series, which chronicles a budding romance between newly single rabbi Noah (Brody) and sex podcaster Joanne (Bell) as they are faced with a slew of naysayers who claim their relationship won’t work.

“And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that,” he added.

“There was the most exciting tabloid story that we were Hollywood swingers and we hosted swing parties, this was in the tabloids,” Shepard recalled. “My favorite part of that happening was we got a lot of texts from other friends of ours saying, ‘How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?’”

Hypothetically, Barrymore questioned theParenthoodalum on whether he and Bell have “anyone that you two do fantasize about getting in bed with,” and Shepard thought for a moment before answering.

“There’s a lot of hot couples out there, but no, we have not crossed that divide with anyone,” he said, setting the record straight but joking: “You know who we are most in love with? We’re in love withTed DansonandMary Steenburgen.”

“Oh my God, they are so dreamy as acouple,” he added. “You just kind of want to be in their marriage. It’s not so much that Kristen even wants to bring me along or I want to bring her along — you just want to be in their marriage.”
