Baltimore Ravens quarterbackLamar Jacksonhas one goal for his team’s Christmas Day game: To seeBeyoncé’s halftime performance.
The 43-year-oldCowboy CarterGrammy nominee will take the stage during halftime of the Ravens' road game vs. the Houston Texans on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Jackson, 27, said he’s already making the performance a priority — despite playing in the game.
On Dec. 23, reporters asked the Ravens quarterback about the upcoming performance and hesaid, “I’m going to go out there and watch.”
Barring any logistical issues with his head coach, Jackson said Beyoncé’s “dope” Christmas Day halftime show will be his first chance of seeing the music icon perform live — and he’s not letting the opportunity slip away, even if the scoreboard isn’t favoring the Ravens.
“I’m not even thinking about the lead. I’m just thinking about seeing Beyoncé for the first time,” Jackson joked with reporters.
“I’m going to go out and watch,” he said.
