Lamar Odom Makes Comment to Khloé Kardashian About Her Son Tatum, 2, as They Reunite

WhenLamar OdomandKhloé Kardashianreunited for the first time since 2016, the retired NBA player made a sweet comment about the Good American co-founder’s son.

In the season 6 premiere ofThe Kardashians, the former couple meets up for the first time in almost nine years. As they’re talking in Kardashian’s best friendMalika Haqq’shouse, Odom sees a picture of the mom of two with her son Tatum, 2, on her phone.

“Like out of body right now, a little bit,” Odom says about how he’s feeling, before looking at Kardashian’s screensaver. “He look like you a lot. Your little boy look like you a lot.”

“That’s what people say,” Kardashian responds.

Kardashian and Odom were married from 2009 to 2016, but the former couple split up in 2013 due to the professional athlete’s ongoing drug addiction.

In 2015, Odom had a near-fatal overdose and was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada, and because his divorce from Kardashian was not yet finalized at the time,she opted to call off the proceedingsas he continued recovering. In 2016,she filed for divorce for a second time.

Alongside her toddler son, Kardashian is mom to daughter True, 6, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson.

Earlier this month, Kardashianspoke of another challenging timeon an episode of her podcastKhloé in Wonder Land. The mom of two discussed her decision to let Thompson stay in the delivery room with her when she welcomed their daughter True after learning 48 hours earlier that he cheated on her.

“Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar [Odom] — Lamar was my first husband —where I would say, ‘Okay.’ I knew how to deal with this media scandal," she explained. “And I was in Cleveland, Ohio so like let me just stay here for a little bit because that’s where I gave birth.”

She continued to explain that she didn’t give power to the situation, saying that people started to ask her if she wanted Thompson in the delivery room after the scandal became public only 48 hours before she gave birth.

“I was thinking for my daughter True,” Kardashian explained. “And I get sad if I ever see myself because I can tell I’m blank and it’s an out-of-body experience. I just went into autopilot. And I just went into, I’m not here, I was not present. But my body was there, I gave birth, I did what I had to do.”

“But it was for her. I thought of her. I was like, ‘For her memories, I want her to know her dad was in the room.’ And then when it was done, I was like, ‘I can’t talk to you’ when I put my home camera down. But I made sure to do what I needed to do for her.”
