LaVar Ball Reportedly Has Foot Amputated Following 'Serious' Medical Issue

The 57-year-old reportedly had his right foot amputated after suffering a “serious” medical issue. He has been doing well physically following the procedure and is in “great spirits,” per the outlet. No other details of his condition have been revealed.

The Ball family patriarch waslater photographedin the hospital smiling in a wheelchair with his right leg covered in bandages following the reported foot amputation.

Additionally, LaMelo shared a photo on his Instagram Stories on Feb. 20 of his father using a scooter to get around amid his recovery.

Lonzo, his eldest son, played basketball at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and was drafted to the NBA in 2017 after just one season in college. He is currently a point guard for the Chicago Bills.LiAngelo, who is a year younger than Lonzo, signed to play in Mexico’s professional league for the Astros De Jalisco in 2024. He has since transitioned to pursue a career in the music industry.
