Love Is Blind's Iyanna McNeely Announces Engagement: 'Something Sparkly, Something Special, Someone Forever'

TheLove Is Blindstar shared the news onInstagramon Tuesday, Dec. 17, writing, “A weekend of surprises, wonder, and happy cries. ✨ Something sparkly, something special, someone forever. ✨.”

Her post featured five photos from her engagement weekend. In the final image, she smiles lovingly at her fiancé, whose name she has not revealed, while suspended in the air in his arms with her right foot popped up. Based on her pictures, the proposal appears to have taken place near the Civic Opera Building in Chicago.

“Congratulations!!! 🎉🍾 ❤️,” commented Mallory Zapata, whom McNeely’s ex-husbandJarrette Jonesproposed to first onLove Is Blind.

The bride-to-be was previously married to Jones, whom she met on the second season ofLoveIs Blind. The couple had a rocky start after Jones proposed to another woman. After getting rejected, he popped the question to McNeely, andthey eventually got marriedin the show’s finale.

McNeely later accused Jones of cheating on herduring their “unhappy” marriage. The former coupleannounced their splitin August 2022, sharing the news in a joint Instagram statement in which they said their lives were “going in different directions.”

At the time, Jones issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying of the news: “My divorce with Iyanna is finalized as of today. We’ll remain friends and I’ll continue to wish her nothing but the very best. Thank you everyone for your continued support and understanding throughout this entire process.”
