Martha Stewart Ditched Her Signature Sneakers for a Pair of Tall Heels — Here’s Why They’re Still Comfortable

On February 10, the 83-year-old entrepreneurattended the Tory Burch show, and, per usual, her ’fit was at the top of the fashion game. She wore a ritzy tie-neck blouse and breezy pants with an embellished coat on top and ditched hersignature Skechersfor an impressive pair of chunky heels. She topped off the look with a Bandolier phone case, whichshe told PEOPLEshe uses “all the time.”

Everything about the look was nice-looking and thought-out: The coat provided the warmth, the pants provided the comfort, and the heels provided the polish. And as one, the outfit is about to become my new fallback for nights out.

A block heel is also thick and wide, so you won’t feel like you’re hobbling around shakily. Plus, a slingback is breezy and seasonal for spring.
