An Indiana woman survived after she was trapped in her crashed car for six days, thanks to water she managed to retain through her hoodie.
On Tuesday, March 11, Brieonna Cassell was discovered inside her vehicle, off the roadway and in a ditch in Newton County, about an hour-and-a-half south of Chicago, according to theNewton County Sheriff’s Office.
Cassell had just left her mother’s home on Wednesday, March 6, and was visiting a friend when she drove off the road in Brook, Ind.
“She had fell asleep and veered off the road and went into a very big, deep ditch. It couldn’t be seen from the road,” Delmar Caldwell, Cassell’s father, told WSL.
